Herbal protocol for fibroadenoma and breast cyst

There are many causes of fibroadenomas and breast cysts, but one common element is estrogen dominance, an imbalance between estrogen and progesterone levels.

The protocol below includes measures to correct this imbalance, but does not replace the treatment recommended by your doctor. In most cases, the doctor does not recommend treatment, only periodic monitoring.

1. Hormonal balancing

  • DIM (from broccoli, cabbage, kale, cauliflower) - 100-200 mg/day or regular consumption of cruciferous vegetables
  • Vitex agnus-castus (do not combine with contraceptives or hormone therapy, do not take during pregnancy or if you are trying to conceive).

2. Correcting deficiencies and metabolic support

  • Vitamin D3 + K2+ Magnesium - 2 capsules daily (monitor blood vitamin D levels every few months and maintain levels between 50 and 80 ng/ml: if levels approach or exceed 80 ng/ml, discontinue use; if levels drop to around 50 ng/ml, resume use)

3. Lifestyle

  • Avoiding sugar, coffee, dairy products, and alcohol
  • Eat plenty of cruciferous vegetables daily (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, kale)
  • Reducing exposure to xenoestrogens (plastic, pesticides, paraben cosmetics)
  • Regular sleep, stress management, daily exercise (brisk walking, yoga, swimming)
  • Detoxification: Although there is no scientific evidence, I have received several testimonials from women who took zeolite for other purposes, stating that it also helped them with breast fibroadenomas. For those who decide to try it, start with one capsule on the first day and increase the dose by one capsule daily until reaching 6 capsules, which is the dose to continue with. Drink 2 liters of fluids per day. Allow a 2-hour break between taking zeolite and any medications.
  • Intermittent fasting:may help prevent the growth of fibroadenomas and breast cysts by:
    • hormonal balance (↓ estrogen, ↑ relative progesterone),
    • reducing inflammation,
    • decrease metabolic risk,
    • activation of cell regeneration processes.
  • Avoid refined vegetable oils (sunflower, rapeseed, corn, soy, margarine) because:
    • increase inflammation
    • favors estrogen dominance
