Collection: complementary recommendations to support the body during oncologic treatments

Please note: The information below is provided for educational purposes. It is not a substitute for medical treatment, does not guarantee a cure, and is not personalized medical advice. Dietary supplements do not treat, prevent or cure disease.

General principles in supporting the body in cancer

  1. Follow your doctor's orders - cancer treatment remains the foundation of therapy.
  2. Combines natural formulas with adjuvant potential
Spectrum Zeolite, AHCC, vitamin D3, black cumin oil, alpha-lipoic acid (especially in colon or colorectal cancer) and olive leaf extract may be used as a complement, on the advice of your doctor.
    Important advice:
    - during chemotherapy: leave 4 hours between taking Zeolite and cytostatics
    - for other drugs: keep 2 hours apart
  3. Eat an adapted diet
Find detailed recommendations here: Diet in cancer - full recommendations .
  4. Manage stress and support mental well-being
A stable psyche helps the immune system and the ability to regenerate. Guided meditation, breathing techniques and relaxation practices can reduce chronic stress.

For example, you can spend 30-60 minutes every day in silence, possibly in semi-darkness, with your eyes closed, imagining that you are already healed and experiencing as intensely as possible the joy and gratitude for this state. This is not fantasy - there are studies showing the beneficial effects of visualization and meditation on the body. At first the thoughts will 'run away', but with daily practice it will become easier.

Guideline doses for supplements for complementary use

The dosages below are indicative and do not replace the advice of your doctor.

Zeolite Spectrum

  • Usual dose: 9-15 capsules a day.
  • Start with 1 capsule a day and gradually increase by 1 capsule/day until you reach the recommended dose.
  • No known contraindications, no serious side effects reported.
  • Some people may experience transient constipation in the first few days, which is why it is recommended to drink ~2 liters of water/day.
  • Because zeolite helps detoxify the body, dizziness, headaches, mild digestive symptoms - a sign of increased toxin elimination - may occur in the first few days.

AHCC (Active Hexose Correlated Compound)

The AHCC-based products listed on the website contain the same active substance (produced exclusively by Amino Up, Japan), the only difference is in the weight and presentation.

Black cumin oil

  • Usual dose: 3 capsules a day.
  • Can be combined with Zeolite Spectrum, AHCC and the other supplements mentioned, with medical monitoring.

Vitamin D3 + Vitamin K2 + Magnesium

  • Guideline dose: 10,000 IU vitamin D3/day (usually 2 tablets of the indicated product).
  • Regular blood monitoring of vitamin D (every 6-8 months) is essential.
  • If the level reaches 100 ng/ml, the drug is stopped; it is resumed when it falls below 60 ng/ml.

Olive leaf extract

  • Guideline dose: 70-100 ml per day.
  • For more information about olive leaf extract, you can search in the shop: olive leaf extract products.

Alpha-lipoic acid

  • Usual dose: 1 capsule a day.
  • It may be especially useful in the context of colon or colorectal cancer, on doctor's advice.

Duration of supplements

The duration is not fixed and depends on the medical context and the progress of each person.

As an example, in the case of my mom, myself and Delia, the supplements were taken for about 1 year. My opinion is that they should be taken for at least 6 months, and then adjusted according to results, analysis and doctor's recommendations.

Advice for people without cancer

Even people without a cancer diagnosis can use some of these supplements, for preventative purposes or for general body support:

  • Zeolite Spectrum - for detoxification and antioxidant effect, 6 capsules a day.
  • AHCC - to support immunity, 2 capsules a day.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Do these supplements cure cancer?

No. There are no supplements that cure cancer. They can support the body during cancer treatments, but they are not a substitute for doctor-recommended treatment and do not guarantee a cure.

Can I take Zeolite during chemotherapy?

Zeolite can be given as an add-on, but a 4-hour break between Zeolite and cytostatics is recommended. Always discuss with your oncologist before administration.

Are there contraindications to Zeolite Spectrum?

No major contraindications are reported. Transient detoxification reactions (dizziness, headache, mild digestive symptoms) may occur in the first few days, which usually subside with a gradual increase in dose and adequate hydration.

Is AHCC the same regardless of brand?

Yes. The active substance AHCC is produced exclusively by the company Amino Up (Japan). Differences between products are related to dosage, concentration and form of presentation, not to the raw material manufacturer.

Can I take black cumin oil with my other supplements?

Black cumin oil can usually be combined with Spectrum Zeolite, AHCC, vitamin D3 and olive leaf extract. However, medical monitoring is recommended, especially in patients with chronic conditions or multiple treatments.

How long can I take high-dose vitamin D3?

High doses of vitamin D3 should only be taken with regular monitoring of serum levels. When the value reaches about 100 ng/ml, it is recommended to discontinue and resume only when it falls below 60 ng/ml, as recommended by your doctor.

Is Spectrum Zeolite safe for internal use?

Spectrum Zeolite is currently the only zeolite authorized for internal use in Romania. Always follow label instructions and doctor's recommendations.
