Disclaimer Zeolite and AHCC
Important information about using AHCC and zeolite
Important warning
First of all, I should clarify that I am not a medical oncologist and do not recommend protocols for treating cancer.
The treatment established by the oncology team is essential and must not be stopped, postponed, or modified except by the doctors treating you, who are the only ones able to assess whether such a decision is appropriate.
What you should know about these supplements
AHCC and zeolite are not oncology medications. They do not treat cancer, do not guarantee a cure, and cannot replace surgery, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, immunotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy, or any other treatment recommended by the medical team.
For AHCC, there is some preliminary research on its immunomodulatory effects and the possible reduction of certain adverse reactions in some situations. However, the evidence is insufficient to state that AHCC is useful for all types of cancer, increases the effectiveness of any cancer treatment, or improves survival.
For orally administered zeolite, clinical evidence in oncology is limited. It has not been demonstrated to treat cancer or increase the effectiveness of cancer treatment.
My family's experience
During the cancer experiences my family went through, we followed all of our doctors' therapeutic recommendations and did not stop, postpone, or replace the treatments they prescribed.
AHCC and zeolite were used only as supplements, not as alternatives to medical treatment. My family's personal experience is not evidence of these products' effectiveness in treating cancer and cannot be extrapolated to other people.
Check compatibility with your treatment
Before taking them, show your oncologist the exact name, composition, and dosage of the products to verify whether they are compatible with your treatment, other medications you use, and your liver and kidney function.
Warning: simply taking supplements at a different time from medications does not rule out all possible interactions.
Guidance on use
If your oncologist confirms that these supplements may be taken, the recommended method of use for the products in the link is as follows:
1. Zeolite Spectrum
Start with one capsule per day and gradually increase the dose by one capsule per day until reaching a maximum of 15 capsules per day.
Consuming approximately 2 liters of fluids per day is recommended, unless your doctor has imposed a fluid restriction.
Zeolite should be taken at least two hours apart from medications. For oral oncology treatments, ask your doctor what interval should be maintained.
2. AHCC - choose only one variant
AHCC Mycelcaps: 6 capsules per day, taken as follows:
- 2 capsules in the morning;
- 2 capsules at noon;
- 2 capsules in the evening.
or
AHCC MCS Formulas: 4 capsules per day, taken as follows:
- 2 capsules in the morning;
- 2 capsules in the evening.
Do not take both AHCC variants simultaneously. Choose one of them.
On days when you undergo chemotherapy, immunotherapy, or another infusion treatment, follow your medical team's recommendation regarding supplement use.
Final clarification
This is general information about product use and does not constitute a personalized oncology treatment plan.
Dosages may need to be adjusted depending on the treatment being followed, the other medications being taken, liver and kidney function, and general health.
If unusual reactions occur, stop taking the supplements and inform your doctor.
